This privacy policy explains what information LoanQuickly (“we”, “us”) collects when you use loanquickly.ca, how it’s used, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose — a policy you can’t read protects nobody.

What We Collect

  • Application information you provide: when you start an application, you’re transferred to our lending network partner’s secure application, where you provide contact details, employment information, and bank verification through IBV. That information is collected and processed by the network and its licensed lenders under their own privacy policies, which are presented to you during the application.
  • Website usage data: like most websites we use analytics (Google Analytics via Site Kit) to understand which pages are useful — page views, approximate location (city level), device type. This data is aggregated and doesn’t identify you personally.
  • Correspondence: if you email info@loanquickly.ca we keep the thread so we can answer you.

What We Don’t Do

  • We don’t sell personal information.
  • We don’t ask for banking passwords, your SIN, or payment by email — treat any such request as fraudulent.
  • We don’t store IBV credentials — bank verification happens in an encrypted, read-only session operated by the verification provider; your login never passes through this website.

Cookies and Analytics

loanquickly.ca uses cookies for basic site function, caching, and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to our content. Analytics cookies simply help us see which guides Canadians find useful — which pages get read, roughly where visitors are, and what device they’re on. We don’t build advertising profiles, and we’re committed to keeping analytics aggregated rather than personal.

How This Privacy Policy Applies to Loan Applications

LoanQuickly is a loan-connection service. When you click Apply, your application is processed by our lending network partner, which matches it with licensed Canadian lenders. Each lender that reviews your file is bound by Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and its own posted privacy policy. Your loan agreement, payments, and account data live with your lender — not with this website.

Your Rights Under This Privacy Policy

Under PIPEDA you may request access to, or correction of, personal information an organization holds about you. For information held by a lender, contact the lender named in your agreement. For correspondence held by us, email info@loanquickly.ca or use the contact page. You can learn more about your privacy rights from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Applying on a phone - the privacy policy separation keeps sensitive data off this site
Application data flows to the lending network and your lender — never into this website’s database.

Data Retention

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the conversation and maintain a reasonable service history, and aggregated analytics data per Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. Application data retention is governed by the lending network’s and your lender’s own privacy policy — shown to you during the application — because that data lives with them, not on this website. If you’d like a correspondence thread deleted, ask in that thread and we’ll confirm once done.

Security Practices

loanquickly.ca is served over HTTPS, and this website deliberately never collects banking credentials, SIN numbers, or payment details — the most sensitive steps happen inside your own bank’s authenticated IBV session and your lender’s secured systems. That separation is the strongest privacy feature of the whole process: the marketing site you’re reading simply never touches the sensitive data. More on how the application itself works is on the apply page and in our borrower guide.

Children’s Privacy

loanquickly.ca is a financial service for adults — the lending network requires the age of majority in your province. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors, and nothing on this site is directed at them. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the application flow, contact the lending network via the details shown during the application, and let us know so we can flag it too.

How to Raise a Privacy Complaint

Three doors, in the order that usually resolves things quickest: first, email us — most concerns are answered in one reply. Second, if your concern involves application data, the lender or network named in your documents has a formal privacy officer under PIPEDA and must respond. Third, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada accepts complaints when an organization’s answer doesn’t satisfy you. This privacy policy exists so you rarely need doors two and three.
